It has been confirmed that SlasheR, Gunless, Asim, and Huke will be the new starting four for the Call of Duty League's Los Angeles Guerrillas, according to a report published on September 3.
The Guerrillas will be aiming to improve on their disappointing 2021 campaign, which saw them finish tied for bottom in the CDL Points standings. This season's Black Ops Cold War season saw LAG produce an 8-26 match record, matching them with Paris Legion (8-22) for the fewest number of series won.
SlasheR, who spent the 2021 season with the Los Angeles Thieves, will only be gone for a brief period of time. The veteran will be in charge of a youthful, talented squad in the purple and black going ahead as the club embarked on a complete rebuild with a completely new roster.
Despite their young age, Gunless and Huke are seasoned veterans of competitive Call of Duty, while Asim made a strong impression with the New York Subliners this season. The well-balanced squad is one of the first teams to be announced for the 2022 season, but it's a good one nevertheless.
It was announced on August 29 that the Guerrillas have released its roster members Apathy, Assault, MentaL, SiLLY, and Cheen. It didn't take long for them to be replaced, and this decision was made with just a few days left before the Call of Duty: Vanguard beta test began. The crew will almost certainly go to work right away, hammering out the details.
CoD: Vanguard will be released on November 5, although the start date for the 2022 season has yet to be determined.
