Vici Gaming was founded on October 21st, 2012 with the assistance of "Fengdidi," who had previously played in PanDarea Gaming under the name "PanPan," and by handpicking highly skilled players who were highly ranked on the Chinese DotA ladder at the time. Vici Gaming is a Chinese DotA team that competes in the Chinese DotA league.
With the exception of the system, which had previously competed under the TyLoo brand, none of the players had prior professional experience at the time of the match. Notably, their mid-lane player "Cty" had previously shown his potential by winning a 1v1 tournament hosted by 2009, in which he defeated well-known players like as Ferrari 430, Sylar, Hao, and other top Chinese players only a few months before being recruited.
Through a victory against Noah's Ark in the preliminary round, the club qualified for the 2012 G-League Season 2.
Vici recruited the team Greedy, which is led by the well-known YaphetS, as their online/backup squad on the 28th of January. In addition to Xiaoyu Ji, Maybe, nL Ks, and Q, the remainder of the squad comprised of They initially concentrated on the original DotA, but have recently extended their emphasis to include Dota 2.
Vici recruited ZSMJ, a Dota 2 player who had been building a team, on March 1st.
It was rumored that ZSMJ took several of his colleagues from his project with Chisbug to Vici Gaming, one of them was undoubtedly Sgua Li, although this has not been confirmed. Vici Gaming made roster changes over the next several weeks, releasing some players in secret while also putting out a public call for prospective players to get in touch with them.

Vici Gaming announced the resignation of team executive PandaPanPan and team manager Nada in June 2013, after their elimination from the International 2013 qualifications and a dismal finish outside the playoff spots in the DSL. Their successor was Mikasa, who also served as a fill-in for VG on occasion.
Vici Gaming went to Poland in December 2013 to participate in the Raidcall EMS Fall LAN finals, becoming the latest team to join the ranks of teams like Alliance, Navi, and DK, who were pioneers in the participation in east-west tournaments.
Following this, the team was invited to compete in the 2014 Kingston HyperX Dota 2 League offline finals, which were held in Las Vegas. Vici would go on to win the first place prize in the EMS One Slip tournament, but she would eventually fall from the top of the Dota 2 rankings as a result of a lack of direction and bad player performances. Although Vici finished in the top three at many tournaments, she was unable to win another championship from TI3 to TI4.
A direct invitation to The International 4[8] tournament was granted to Vici Gaming at the end of April 2014. The team would go on to finish first in their group and second overall in the tournament.
Vici Gaming made significant additions to their lineup after the conclusion of The International 4 by adding Black and iceiceice in the carry and offlane positions, respectively. Following these moves, the squad was able to take first place in a number of prestigious events, including the i-League, ESL One New York 2014, and The Summit 2. After being accepted to the Dota 2 Asia Championships, which featured the biggest prize pool outside of the International tournaments, Vici Gaming competed in the event in February 2015. Victor Gaming finished as runner-up in the tournament, defeating the tournament favorites Team Secret in the semifinals before being swept by Evil Geniuses in the championship match.
Vici Gaming formed a new young team named Vici Gaming Potential (abbreviated as VG.P) in March 2015, after the conclusion of the DAC season. The group was comprised of talented new players from the Chinese Dota scene. With the replacement of Black by Hao on the primary squad, there have also been changes to the roster. Vici Gaming maintained their excellent performance in major events after the shuffle, taking first place in the Star Ladder Star Series Season 12 and second place in the i-League Season 3 respectively. In recognition of their outstanding performance, Vici Gaming has granted a direct invitation to The International 5, where they managed to finish fourth despite a difficult group stage and being seeded in the lower bracket.
