THQ Nordic is bringing Destroy All Humans! 2 back to life with a complete remastering of the 2006 title. The remake, titled Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed — after all, this is the same publisher that brought us Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning and Darksiders: Warmastered Edition — is now in development for the PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X, with a release date of 2022 planned.
In this built-from-scratch remake of Destroy All Humans!, developer Black Forest Games promises a local two-player split-screen co-op as well as new and enhanced features. Destroy All Humans! 2. Unlike its 2020 predecessor, the Reprobed version does not seem to be confined to last-generation consoles, which is a welcome change.

After being revealed during THQ Nordic's 10th anniversary broadcast as a complete remake of the second game in the original series, the game will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The THQ Nordic videos for Destroy All Humans 2! - Reprobed were unveiled during the publisher's 10th Anniversary Showcase, and they look fantastic! Despite the fact that the game will only be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC at launch, the franchise's trademark devil-may-care attitude is still present in the announcement trailer, which also features a gameplay trailer that showcases the visual upgrades in the works for the new-generation experience.
